Helen Monsarrat is a Women’s Wear designer living and working in New York City.
Passionate about the creativity and fine details of fashion design from an early age, she graduated from The Fashion School at Kent State University with a B.A. in Fashion Design, a Marketing minor, and having completed an internship with the haute couture house of Chado Ralph Rucci. Her focus was in Women’s Wear–using fabric, construction details, and silhouette to empower and make every woman feel beautiful.
After moving to New York City, Helen pursued this focus with work experience at Theia Couture, Bibhu Mohapatra, and currently as one of two designers on the Adrianna Papell Daytime design team. In addition, she has had extensive experience in print design as a part of Victoria’s Secret Pink, where she worked as both a CAD artist, and then as a Surface Designer.
As she continues to inform her work through travel, art, exhibitions, and daily life in the City, Helen is always looking to grow and meet others in the field through conversation, collaboration, and new project opportunities.
